Tablet on a restaurant table showing a dish from the menu in full screen
Digital menu on tablets

Digitalmenuontabletsapictureisworthathousandwords

A tablet at every table with your menu full screen: guests swipe through the dishes, see them big and order with their eyes. You change a price, swap a photo or take off a dish that has run out, and in under a minute every table is up to date.

Photos that make people hungry

Every dish fills the whole screen. A good photo at that size explains a dish better than any description on paper.

Always up to date, nothing to reprint

You mark a dish as sold out and it disappears from every tablet in under a minute; the next day it comes back on its own.

Keeps going when the Wi-Fi drops

The menu that has already loaded stays saved on the tablet. If the connection goes down in the middle of service, your guests keep seeing it.

Every dish, on its own card

Name, description, price and allergens, the photo for the tablet and the portrait one for phones. With one click, the AI improves the photo you took with your phone.

Don’t take our word for it: open it.

This is the menu of La Revolcona, a traditional restaurant in Madrid that already uses it with its guests. Open it, switch the language and swipe through the dishes: it’s exactly what they see.

Why a tablet menu and not just a QR code?

With a QR code, the guest has to take out their phone, open the camera and read the menu on a small screen. With a tablet on the table, the menu is already there: big, switched on and with your dishes full screen. It’s the closest thing to showing the plate before it leaves the kitchen.

And you don’t have to choose. With WeNeedToEat you get both for the same price: the tablet on the table and the QR code for anyone who prefers their phone, with the same dishes, the same photos and the same prices. If you add tablets tomorrow, you don’t pay more.

What the guest sees on the tablet

First, your place: your logo, your colours, your font and, if you like, a welcome video. Then, the menu. Every dish fills the whole screen and the guest swipes to the next one, like flicking through photos.

Every dish has its name, its description, its price and its allergens marked with an icon. Drinks and wines have their own section, each with its photo. And if the guest is from abroad, they change the language with one tap.

What changes for your team

Fewer “what’s in this?” questions and less explaining on the floor: the guest sees the dish before ordering it. The octopus runs out halfway through service? You mark it as sold out from the dashboard and in under a minute it disappears from every table. The next day it comes back on its own.

And no more reprinting. You raise a price, change a photo or add the dish of the day, and every tablet updates without restarting, even in the middle of service. Guests still order from the waiter as always: you don’t change the way you work.

The tablets: your own, or ready to go

Any recent Android tablet works, including the ones you already have. If you don’t have any, we’ll sell you one ready to use: Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ 11", with case and charger, already set up in menu mode, from €260 + VAT (one-off payment).

If the Wi-Fi drops in the middle of service, the menu that has already loaded stays saved on the tablet and your guests keep seeing it. When the connection comes back, it updates itself.

How to get started

  1. You add your menu: you write it in the dashboard or we import it from the one you already have.
  2. You install the app on your Android tablets and link them with a code.
  3. You publish, and in under a minute every table shows the new menu.

Frequently asked questions

Which tablets do I need?

Any recent Android tablet, including the ones you already have (they’re not included in the price). And if you’d rather start with just the QR code, you can.

What if the guest prefers their phone?

The same menu opens on their phone with a QR code, with nothing to download. You get both for the same price.

Can I change the menu during service?

Yes. Changes reach every tablet in under a minute, without restarting them.

Do guests order from the tablet?

No. It’s your menu: the guest looks, chooses and orders from the waiter as usual. You don’t change the way you work or your till.

Can I use my logo and my colours?

Yes: your logo, your colours, your font and, if you like, a welcome video. The menu looks like your place, not like a template.

What happens if the Wi-Fi drops?

The menu that has already loaded stays saved on the tablet and your guests keep seeing it. When the connection comes back, it updates itself.

Do you sell the tablets?

Yes, if you need them: Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ 11", with case and charger, already set up in menu mode, from €260 + VAT (one-off payment). Your own tablets work too.

How much does it cost?

€89 a month + VAT per restaurant, with no minimum term, or €939 a year + VAT if you pay for the year upfront (you save 12 %). The first month is free.
